This week, our designers are focusing on creating patriotic projects of all kinds. We have layouts, cards, altered projects, and even a fun mini album. With both Canada Day and the 4th of July being celebrated this week, it's the perfect time to dig out those red, white, and blue products and have fun with them!
“Canada Day/3rd Birthday”, by Jodi Wilton.
Canada Day is such a special for me, because my youngest was born on this day! We always joke that she is always going to have a day off, with fireworks and a parade! It was easy to use the All American Collection to create a fun Canada Day/Birthday layout of her from last year. I really wanted to make a Canadian Flag, so I added one of the crochet hearts as the maple leaf in the middle. Happy Canada Day everyone!

“True North”, by Nicole Nowosad.
It is sad to say I don’t have a lot of patriotic photos, although I really wanted to scrap a page about our wonderful country. I added hidden journaling to the back of my page, so i could use a longer title from our National Anthem. Although the theme was red/white and blue, I cheated a little and used the blue very sparsely with a few ink splatters and let the Red and White be the focus – just like the Canadian flag! This July 1st (Canada Day), I will do a better job of documenting what a great country we have up north!!

“Happy Canada Day”, by Jamie Harder.
For this layout I used a lot from the All American collection. I love how well this collection worked for a Canadian themed page! My daughter loves heading out to watch the parade on Canada Day. Her favorite thing is blowing that horn! Ha!
