“New Friends”, by Kay Rogers.
Our family loves camping, and we have met so many great friends on our travels. These sisters hung out with Jenna for the whole trip and the girls had a blast! I love this line for the fun feel of these pictures!

“Sweet, Sweet Tween”, by Laura Vegas.
I love the new Candid Cards and incorporated quite a few of them onto this layout about my oldest daughter, Alyssa. Since the cards are all double sided, it gives you so many more options for adding additional patterns and colors into the mix of the collection papers. I chose several different cards, in both the 2x2" and 4x6" sizes, to "tuck" into my blue dotted border strip across the top of the page.

“Sweet Girl”, by Katie Rose.
You all know how I love a good grid! Well these Candid Cards seem to be just made for them! I just love these smaller square cards…perfect for my beloved grids yet different than the 3x4. I can't wait to use them in my Project Life pages as well.

“13”, by Stephanie Smokovich.
I took a bunch of photographs of my niece for her thirteenth birthday. I loved the urban feel of them, with garage backgrounds and scrapyard props. Of all the pictures, I felt like I just needed this one, my favorite to tell the story of her becoming a young woman. I wanted the layout to be a little funky just like her personality. Tip: On the lime background pattern (containing adjectives) I used a fine point black pen to doodle over some of the adjectives that I especially feel describe her, "lovely, funny, girly, strong". This little details pops the words off the page.

"Just The Girls" card, by Shellye McDaniel.
I cut the top portion from one of the Cotton Candy Feathers and adhered it to the back of the heart shape. I found that using a fabric glue holds the feather in place nicely. Next, I cut a section of the cute wolves from the Borders paper and corner-rounded the top before attaching.

"Joy, Love, Peace" card, by Shellye McDaniel.
Dress-up basic die-cut shapes with easy techniques like hand-stitching or paper piercing. Cut apart a design from its background so that it complements the design, as I did with the 'peace' sign from the Candid Cards pack.
