Welcome to Monday Morning Challenge, where we offer up a challenge, and share with you our designers take on that challenge. Today we asked our designers to create holiday themed home decor items using any of Bella's products that they wanted.
Holiday Frame Collage, by Nicole Nowosad.
I had an older frame lying around, so I stapled some large chicken wire to the back of it. I wanted to make a collage piece for a mantle/shelf area in our home and this project fits that job perfectly! Just a few pieces of patterned paper and a lot of paper pieces and stickers and the project was complete! This will make a fun and whimsical piece to decorate our home.

Feather Tree, by Nicole Nowosad.
I really wanted to create a soft and fluffy tree and the Bella Blvd feathers were perfect for that! I just layered lots of feathers (using a glue gun) over a gold painted foam cone. I was inspired by Jen Chesnick’s glittered feather tutorial and painted on some glitter glue to my feathers once they were in place! When everything was dry, I added a few of my prettier pins and the tree was complete!

Paper Tree, by Nicole Nowosad.
Instead of creating a button tree, I used some punched circles from different Bella Blvd lines in different shades of green and cream and layered them over a foam cone! My eight year old even got involved and helped me add some sequins to finish it off! The best part was making the project a family affair and was so easy to make!

“Peace Love Joy” Wall Hanging, by Katie Rose.
I bought this set of 3 alterable frames at a local craft store and covered them with this fun and whimsical Christmas Countdown collection! I used pop dots with some of the stickers to give it dimension. I also cut some simple shapes with white card stock with my Silhouette to go under the words. I think it will look super cute on the wall!

Snowman Ornament, by Shellye McDaniel.
You can try any size or shape of plain paper mache ornament for a Snowy Man such as this. For mine, I chose a 6" paper mache egg. First, I cut 10-12 1" wide strips (use a smaller width for smaller shapes) from a sheet of patterned paper; trim strips down to fit from top to bottom of the ornament.
Using Mod Podge and a sponge brush, apply a thin coat to a small section of the ornament and then press paper strips into place. Once all of the strips have been adhered, apply a thin coat of Mod Podge over the entire piece. Once that has dried, cover with iridescent glitter. Embellish with a paper cone hat, crochet heart cheeks and wooden eyes and nose.
To create the cone hat, cut a piece of patterned paper to 5.25" X 11"; trim into a semi-circle (as shown in photo) and then roll into shape.
