“Proud to Serve”, by Jennifer Chapin.
I really wanted to make a big statement with my title on this page. By mixing and matching letters - both chipboard and stickers - I created a visually engaging large title that balances my photos. I also wanted to stick with the red, white and blue theme to match the patriotic feeling of Flag Day and the All American collection.

“We Love a Parade”, by Jaclyn Rench.
With an annual 4th of July parade passing just steps from our front door, it's only natural that attending it would quickly become our family tradition. My boys are often enthralled with the trucks and tractors, and spend the rest of their time searching the pavement for every last piece of candy that has been tossed their way. I love to document this tradition through pictures, but also really enjoy sitting back and watching the sheer joy that comes to their faces from something as simple as a parade.

"No Place Like The USA", by Stephanie Hunt.
Fourth of July is a tradition year after year in our family. Parade in the morning, corn roast to follow and then (weather pending) a beautiful day out on the lake at my Aunt & Uncle's home. These photos are from our celebration in 2011. My quick and simple layout was creating by color blocking based on the sizes of my photographs. When my photos are adhered to dark background I tend to sand the edges, making them white so that they stand out. Tip: Don't always cut the Border strips (patterned paper) apart. Keep some borders together for color blocking as I did with the navy polkadot and patriotic hearts. Happy Independence Day everyone!

“A Good Day”, by Malika Kelly.
Happy 4th of July! Today I have a fun red, white and blue layout to share with you using Bella Blvd's All American collection. I made these firecracker flowers by using two punches: a circle and a heart punch. I used five hearts and one circle for every flower. The hearts get folded (bottom point folded up to meet the middle part of the heart). And then just layered them around the outside of the circle. You can tack it down with adhesive and even add some stitching as I did, if you like. I took some chipboard stars and placed them on top and then stacked a button on top of that! Lots of layers here! Bella Blvd patterned papers are great for these little firecracker flowers cause they are double sided and both sides will show on your heart pieces. Give it a try for your 4th of July projects this year!

“All American Girl”, by Gina Lideros.
When I saw these photos of my friend Suzy's daughter I just knew I needed to use them with the All American collection. The photos (taken of her on Independence Day) go perfectly with the bright patriotic colors and patterns. And, I just love that the polka dot clouds and polka dot flower match her sweet little bows.
