Any idea what today is? Sure, it's Thursday, which means that today we're sharing lots and lots of creative cards from our Card Designers! But it's also November 1st, which means that our new mid release collection, Kiss Me, begins shipping out!!! Keep your eyes out for it, as it will begin popping up in LSS's and online retailers!
“Love Flowers” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
I wanted to create a bright and cheerful "pick-me-up" card for my daughter, so I turned to the new Kiss Me collection! The beautiful and cheery colors and patterns are sure to bring a smile to her face! I used my Silhouette machine to cut out all of the shapes. I couldn't help but add some pretty Bella buttons on the flower centers ... they just make the card even more special!
Supplies:
Kiss Me: Alpha+Bits Stickers, Just Write Journaling Stickers, Borders & Cute Cuts, Flutter, Bouquet Kisses; High Five Alpha Stickers: Piggy-Punch; Sophisticates: Sprinkles & Lace Punch, Sprinkles & Lace Ice; Button Market: Hot Pink Flowers, Pink Flowers, Masculine Mix
“Birthday Wishes”, by Laurie Schmidlin.
I pulled papers and elements from several collections to create this soft and girly birthday card. Bella Blvd's Ciao Chip pieces and Crochet Flowers are such a quick and beautiful way to finish a card! Because I wanted them to be the focal points of my card, I used some dimensional tape to pop them up. To finish it off, I added some stitching around the card as well as on the heart.
Supplies:
Birthday Girl: Miles of Smiles; Sunshine & Happiness: Alpha+Bits Stickers; Sophisticates: Sprinkles & Lace Punch, Sprinkles & Lace Ice, Miniatures Card Sentiment Stickers; Ciao Chip Elements: Stars & Hearts, Clouds; Crochet Flowers: Daisies
“Sunshine & Happiness”, by Carina Lindholm.
On this card I cut out three flowers from the Cute Cuts patterned paper. I adhered the flowers to the card using pop dots to give the card some dimension. I also adhered some cute Bella blvd buttons in the centre of the flowers.
Supplies:
Sunshine & Happiness: Popsicle Kisses, Cute Cuts, Sunny Side Up; Birthday Boy: Alpha+Bits Stickers; Buttons Market: Pink Flowers
“Kram”, by Carina Lindholm.
I really love the warm colors in this thankful collection. For this card I cut out a bunch of flowers and leafs and adhered them in a cluster at the top of my card, and used letter stickers to spell out my sentiment. (Kram =Hugs)
Supplies:
Thankful: Perfect Day, Borders, Cute Cuts, Alpha+Bits Stickers; Button Market: Merlot Flowers
“Gobble On” card, by Kathy Martin.
As November nears and Thanksgiving is just around the corner, I wanted to create a couple cards with the Thankful collection. The turkey image from this line makes me smile with its colorful plumage and pink heart on its breast. Who could resist a smile when looking at him?
Supplies:
Thankful: Homey, Borders, Alpha+Bits Stickers; Designer Tape: Pony Dot
“Fall” card, by Kathy Martin.
One of my favorite things about autumn are the colorful turning leaves so I thought this pretty Bella Blvd. tree would make a wonderful focal point for my second card. What do you think? Do you like all the vibrant leaves on this tree?
Supplies:
Thankful: Perfect Day, Alpha+Bits Stickers, Just Write Journaling Stickers; Button Market: Wood Mix
“Keep Calm & Gobble On” card, by Shellye McDaniel.
Starting with the word 'bubble' sticker, I created a vertical line of fun embellishments to help emphasize the sentiment. I layered two different buttons together by simply hand-sewing them together and attaching to the card with a sticky dot. The yellow ribbon mirrors the scalloped border sticker and helps to frame the cute 'lil turkey!
Supplies:
Thankful: Bountiful, Perfect Day, Cute Cuts, Alpha+Bits Stickers, Just Write Journaling Stickers; Sophisticates: Sprinkles & Lace Brownie, Miniatures Card Sentiments Stickers; Button Market: Merlot Flowers, Masculine Mix; Flags: Thankful1
“Merry Christmas Magic” card, by Shellye McDaniel.
I'm a little late to the washi-love-craze, but a few recent challenges have me lovin' all of the things that you can create with it! For this card I wanted a banner hanging across the chipboard tree. I took strips of Red Dot Designer Tape and folded it around a length of baker's twine. After attaching the sticker letters I determined how long I wanted the banners to be and trimmed the ends with pinking shears. Simple and fun!
Supplies:
Christmas Wishes: Christmas Love, North Pole, Just Write Journaling Stickers, Alpha+Bits Stickers; Family Dynamix: Quadrants; Christmas Wishes: Chipboard Icons; High Five Alphabet Stickers: Blue; Designer Tape: Red Dot; Button Market: Orange Stars
