Back in September, when we were choosing our new Design Team, we had a group of talented designers that we just couldn't pass up. So we added a special team of On-going Guest Designers, that will joining us here on the blog throughout the year, along with the rest of our Design Team. Today, we are welcoming back Stacey Michaud and Charity Hassel for another round of projects.
Hi all! My name is Stacey Michaud. I am a teacher during the day and an avid scrapbooker by night! I use the creative process to keep my sanity and record my stories. Paper serves as my muse and I love gaining inspiration from the products around me. I like to call my style clean and linear with a twist. Journaling is a must for me. I have been blessed enough to be published in Scrapbook Trends, Creating Keepsakes and Memory Makers magazine as well as several idea books!
“Sweetness & Sunshine”, by Stacey Michaud.
I love the soft pinks in the Baby Girl collection and knew they would work perfectly for a layout about my daughter. I love mixing fonts to create titles and Bella gives that option each time with all the stickers and chipboard varieties. I created the sun using the Designer Tape. It was easy to cut along the chevron and make the pointed rays. I layered the middle of the sun with a handcut circle from the Pretty in Pink paper, a miniature sticker, flag and crochet flower.
Supplies:
Baby Girl: Borders, Pretty in Pink, It’s a Girl Papers, Alpha+Bits Stickers, Miniatures Stickers, Flags; Sunshine and Happiness: Happy Clouds Paper, Miniatures Stickers; Spring Flings and Easter Things Alpha+Bits Stickers; Button Market: Pink Flowers; Designer Tape: Yellow Chevron; Crochet Flowers: Dahlia
“Tough & Lovable Boys”, by Stacey Michaud.
I love to combine all the Bella collections together. It is so much fun to gather all stickers, papers and embellishments that fit my ideas. I am very into long titles lately and I created this one using different alphabet stickers as well as a chipboard word. To make the layout mine, I added repeating circles. I used a combination of colors and sizes mainly along the bottom to balance the photos and title. Overall, the design is simple with lots of white space, but is fun and funky too.
Supplies:
Baby Boy: Wild About You, Baby Blue Paper; Sunshine and Happiness: Sunny Side Up Paper; Sophisticates: Chip Essential Chipboard, Black-White High Five Alphabets, Family Miniatures Stickers; Christmas Wishes: Chipboard Icons; One Fall Day: Blurbs Journaling Stickers; Tail Waggers & Cat Naps: Chit Chat Chipboard; Estate Sale: Linens Paper; Camped Out: Alphabet Stickers

Hi everyone! My name is Charity. I am 36 years old, married to Brian for 8 years. I am the stay at home mommy of Alexander (7) and Audrey (5). I am also an RN, and work one shift a week at a local hospital. I love paper crafting and creating. It's been so fun to work on design teams, teach at my local scrapbook store and sharing this hobby with friends. I love old musicals, chocolate covered popcorn and spending time with family.
“Muddy Cousins”, by Charity Hassel.
My brother and his family live on the other side of the world from us, so, when the cousins were together they made the most of every moment. This particular day they decided to dig in Meme's yard and make mud pies! I wanted to add interest to my title by adding a flower button to the center of one of the letters. I love how the baby boy patterned papers can be used for everyday layouts as well as baby things.
Supplies:
Baby Boy: Heaven Sent, Baby Blue, Cute Cuts, Just Write Journaling Stickers; Sophisticates: Miniatures Family Stickers, Ciao Chip Borders; Crochet Flowers: Juniper; Button Market: Neutrals Mix
“Just Because” card, by Charity Hassel.
I love these little crocheted flowers. I wanted to make them pop more on the yellow background. So, I used a circle punch to cut some patterned paper then I layered the flowers over the top of the circles. The little tag and flag stickers from Bella Blvd. make adorable "leaves" for a flower.
Supplies:
Baby Boy: Heaven Sent, Borders, Baby Blue; Spring Flings & Easter Things: A Tisket A Tasket; Crochet Flowers: Juniper; Designer Tape: Pickle Juice
“Baby Boy” card, by Charity Hassel.
Make large loops from the gingham Designer Tape and place on your card for an extra fun touch! I used pop dots to add the center baby boy panel to the card, making it easier to slide the ends of my looped Designer Tape beneath. Next, I made scallops by using a circle punch then cutting circles in half. These were layered under the looped tape. I love the sweet little star button, so, I had to put that in the center of the baby boy greeting!
Supplies:
Baby Boy: Wild About You, On The Go, Cute Cuts; Designer Tape: Teal Stripe, Blue Gingham: Button Market: Stars
Elephant Gift Box, by Charity Hassel.
I love the sweet elephant from this line. I knew he would be so cute holding a little flag on the front of a gift box! Cut the green dotted journaling spot and create your own tag to layer with the "little man" sticker tag. Use scissors and cut thin strips of Designer Tape to use as grass on the bottom of gift box front.
Supplies:
Baby Boy: Cute Cuts, Miniatures Stickers; High Five Alpha Stickers: Green; Designer Tape: Pickle Juice; Button Market: Stars; Flags: Just Married
