We have had so much fun this week, during our Bella Blvd & Core'dinations team-up! We hope you have enjoyed all of the projects, both by our Bella designers and Core'dinations designers.
“Love”, by Jennifer Edwardson.
Emma rides A LOT so needless to say I have a ton of photos of her on a horse. I am that scrapbooker that is always looking to use product for something other than the 'theme' it was created for. With this shot of Emma and her newest horse (a girl this time :)), I chose Bella's Baby Girl collection. I used a white base from the Coredinations 'Spotted' cardstock (my new fave) and lightly sanded off the top. I also cut a strip from a brown piece of spotted cardstock and ran it through a border punch and then sanded the top to show the dots. After I had my borders and patterned paper where I wanted them I added desginer tape and embellishments too. I braided (3) colors of twine together to create the heart and added stickers, a flag and a crochet flower. I often will cut stickers to make them work for me which is what I did to the 'it doesn't get better then this' sticker. It worked much better for my layout when I cut it into pieces.
Supplies:
Baby Girl: It's A Girl, Borders, Alpha+Bits Stickers, Miniatures Stickers; Spring Flings & Easter Things: Alphas+Bits Stickers; Flags: Girl; Designer Tape: Pink Stripe; Crochet Flowers: Poppy
"Baby girl", by Gretchen McElveen.
I used the soft yellow sheets of Jillian Dot Spotted cardstock from Core'dinations as the background for this baby layout. I love how the subtle dots make the background cardstock so much more interesting. I also pulled out the purple sheet of Jillian Dot Spotted cardstock and then combined the yellow and purple with Bella Blvd's "Baby Girl" line. The colors go perfectly together! I used the purple cardstock as the background for my title and punched a few hearts out of it also. Then I sanded the purple cardstock to bring out the white underneath to create a fun polka-dotted look for the title and hearts!
Supplies:
Baby Girl: Cute Cuts, Snuggly Safari, Alpha+Bits Stickers, Just Write Journaling Stickers, Miniature Stickers; We're Expecting: Miniature Stickers; Ciao Chip: Borders
"Congrats" card, by Gretchen McElveen.
Here I go on my purple kick again! And the purple cardstock in the Jillian Dot Spotted cardstock pack from Core'dinations matches perfectly with the purple in the "Baby Girl" line. I sanded the cardstock to create a fun polka-dotted background for the card. I love how this dotted cardstock can jazz up a background so easily!
Supplies:
Baby Girl: Borders, Cute Cuts, Alpha + Bits Stickers
“Eat”, by Vivian Masket.
When I first saw the Core'dinations Tillie Dot Spotted cardstock I thought of cupcakes with sprinkles and this photo of my daughter. I used my Silhouette to die cut a 6" tall cupcake and wrapper, cutting the cupcake from pink Core'dinations Tillie Dot Spotted cardstock and the wrapper from the B side of the Happy Clouds paper. Although I used a die cutting machine, this would be very simple to re-create with scissors. I sanded the cupcake to reveal the polka dots and then adhered my wrapper to it. I decided to play up the chevron theme, adding a strip of chevron-print designer tape (adhered over white cardstock) and a chevron-print chipboard heart. I echoed the polka dot pattern in the giant cupcake by using white Core'dinations Tillie Dot Spotted cardstock as the layout base and added a scalloped polka dot chipboard border below my photo and behind the giant cupcake. Final touches include designer tape and a journaling sticker (more chevron!), a cupcake flag, and letters in coordinating colors (stolen from the word "beautiful" from the Baby Girl Chipboard Icons set).
Supplies:
Sunshine & Happiness: Happy Clouds; Baby Girl: Just Write Journaling Stickers, Chipboard Icons; Sophisticates: Stars & Hearts Ciao Chip, Borders Ciao Chip; Designer Tape: Teal Stripe, Pink Stripe, Yellow Chevron; Flags: Birthday
“Mother’s Day”, by Kathy Martin.
Oh how I love Core’dinations Jillian Dot! This card stock combines three of my favorite things, color, texture and polka dots! Pair it with the Bella Blvd. Baby Girl collection and you have the perfect mix of whimsy which is ideal for documenting this very special mother’s day gift.
Supplies:
Baby Girl: Snuggly Safari, Ciao Chip; Button Market: Neutrals Mix; Flags: Floral
“Christmas Photos 2011”, by Alice Carman.
There’s a really funny story behind this layout. Last year my hubby and I decided to take holiday photos, but we didn’t know anyone who had an eye for taking pictures. We took it upon ourselves to set up the camera and take pictures. Little did we know our Dog, Frodo felt left out so he jumped into the picture. This is how we ended up with our cropped holiday photo.
Supplies:
Christmas Wishes: Alpha+Bits Stickers, Gifts Galore, Borders; Making the Team, Alpha+Bits Stickers
