If you are starving for new inspiration and ideas, you're in the right place! The Bella Design Team have done wonders with the new products and now we can finally show you! Each day we will be featuring one of our new Collections and/or Embellishment products and showing you some great ideas! Get ready for a fun energy boost ... here we go!
Today, we are featuring projects that focus on our Sophisticates Chipboard embellishments!
"Best Little Sister", by Megan Klauer.
The Sunshine & Happiness collection was the one that popped out to me the most. I'm all about color & this collection is the definition. I chose to use a black & white photo which allowed both the photo as well as the collection to work together without competing for attention.
Supplies:
Sunshine & Happiness: Happy Clouds, Popsicle Kisses, Cute Cuts, Borders, Alpha+Bits, Just Write Journaling Stickers, Miniatures Stickers, Designer Tapes: Jail Bird, High Five Alpha: Black & White, Flags: Summer, Vacation
"A Family Af-fair", by Melissa Stinson.
I was so happy to see that Stephanie designed some non-themed chipboard elements for this release! I love the themed chipboard that comes with some of the paper lines, but having an extra supply of generic shapes such as hearts, stars, and borders in my stash helps me to stretch my supplies and use papers for a wider variety of subjects (especially when scrapping with the "B" side prints).
Supplies:
Sophisticates: Sprinkles & Lace Surf N Turf, Sprinkles & Lace Punch, Sprinkles & Lace Plum; Ciao Chip Elements: Stars & Hearts, Clouds, Borders; High Five Alpha Stickers: Blue, Pink/Red; Button Market: Wood Mix
"Today Is Your Birthday", by Katherine McElvain.
Can you say colorful? Bella lets you play with the colors of the rainbow with all the new Sophisticates! The stars and boarders were perfect to use on this birthday layout. To add more color I reverse punched circles on a piece of cardstock and backed them with tape, calendars, and printed paper, and popped it to the side of the layout. Added some of the fun buttons and Alphas, and call it finished.
Supplies:
Sweet Celebrations: Make a Wish; Button Market: Blues, Masculine Mix, Stars; Designer Tape: Yellow Chevron, Blue Gingham; Sophisticates: Calendars, Tail Tags, Plum, Surf n Turf, Ciao Chip Stars and Hearts, Boarders, Simona Alpha-Orange, High Five Alphabets-Blue; Flags: Birthday
"Super Star Dad" card, by Laura Vegas.
When I started pulling out products for this card, I went with a blue, green, orange, and brown color scheme. Once I started assembling everything, I knew it would make for a great masculine card. I layered two of the chipboard stars together. I love that the green star fit perfectly in the center of the orange star. I added the chipboard "Dad" letters, and then used letter stickers in green and orange, to pull in the colors on the rest of my card. A fun little football flag adds a nice masculine touch to the card, that I think any Dad would love to receive!
Supplies:
Sophisticates: Sprinkles & Lace Surf N Turf, Tall Tags; Family Dynamix: Quadrants; High Five Alpha Stickers: Green, Yellow; Ciao Chip Elements: Stars & Hearts, Family Words; Flags: Boy
