Inspiration Unlimited Week: Designer Tapes

This week while we are catching up and recovering from being in California at the CHA Trade Show debuting all the brand new products that we revealed over the past 2 weeks, we are going to share with you projects, projects and more projects with everything new! If you are starving for new inspiration and ideas, you're in the right place! The Bella Design Team have done wonders with the new products and now we can finally show you! Each day we will be featuring one of our new Collections and/or Embellishment products and showing you some great ideas! Get ready for a fun energy boost ... here we go!

Today, we are featuring projects that focus on our Designer Tape embellishments!

"New Glasses", by Brook Stewart.

The new Designer Tapes from Bella just blew my mind! They are fabulous and come in a great variety of fun colors and patterns! There are so many things you can do with them! On this layout, I chose to use them as borders for my layout and just layered them all over. They are easy to pull up and move if you decide you want to switch things around. They are so easy and fun to use!

"Cherrry Blossoms", by Melissa Stinson.

The new designer tapes from Bella were by far my favorite embellishment in the new release! I love the patterns (the yellow chevron caught my eye right away), and I love that there is SO MUCH tape on each roll! You can have fun with using lots of it without having to worry about running out. I thought for sure that making all those little pennants for my banners would have used up a lot of my pink tape especially, but it barely made a dent in the roll!

"Sunshine & Happiness", by Diane Payne.

On this layout I wanted to do something really fun with the tape so I created a cute ruffle border under my photo by folding the tape over to create pleats across the entire length of the photo. I added the floral tape above the ruffle and finished it off with twine. For the flowers I overlapped three pieces of tape and added the new Market Buttons to the center. These are some of my favorites in the new releases and I know I’ll be using them on many of my future projects!

"Little Cupcake" card, by Laura Vegas.

I love the little cupcake chipboard piece from the Baby Girl collection, and knew it would be cute on a card. This could easily be used for a birthday card for a little girl. I used one of the journaling blocks from the Cute Cuts patterned paper to add my card sentiment too. I added two pieces of the Yellow Chevron Designer Tape to the top and bottom of the journaling card, to "hold" it in place. A little stitching along the tapes adds a fun touch.
