Now Shipping! + Birthdays Young & Old

Happy Friday blog readers! This week has been a long and busy one here at Bella, and I'm thankful for a weekend of fun to come. A little update for everyone....

Bella Blvd's CHA release is currently shipping!!

The product has been shipping throughout the month of February, and will continue for as long as need be! I must admit I totally underestimated the amount of time it takes to pack and ship. What a task! Rest assured, the small but powerful Bella team is plugging away. The store locator is being updated regularly so be sure to check it if your on the hunt for Bella goodies!

I love that about Sweet Celebration, it can be used for birthdays young and "old!"

Use Those Scraps!

With the current economic hard times our country is facing, it's good to know there is a solution to making your current product stash last even longer! A big trend in current magazines and online galleries is the use of scraps. Using bits and pieces of sticker sheets, paper scraps, buttons, brads, ribbons and more make the birthday layout below a a quick solution.

Bella Blvd challenges you to create a layout with your scraps! Stretch those supplies! Use those shnibbles (is that a word?!) of ribbon in the bottom of your jars!

Versatility

When designing the Bella Blvd collections we try to streamline approx. 2-4 colors throughout all the products. This way mixing and matching some of the patterns from different sets is super easy. Not only are some of the colors shared, but also there are versatile patterns and sticker pieces within each collection. Some patterns can be used for everyday layouts and craft projects. 

Take Sweet Celebration for example. Wendy created this layout with winter photos (notice the christmas tree in the background!) Titled, "Favorites of You," Wendy chose her favorite winter photos of her daughter, added Bella's versatile stickers ("favorites" and the striped tab) to create a non-birthday themed layout.

Capturing Springtime

As the winter season lingers on, I can't help but think of springtime. Katherine must feel the same way. She created this beautiful layout. Her handwritten journaling says it all!

A great way to highlight important words throughout your journaling is to brush a strip of paint before you add your thoughts.

Love how Katherine used the square sticker from the Label Additions. Such a great title collage inside of it!

Did you have a sweet Valentine's? + Moxie Fab!

Last Friday Bella Blvd presented at a local elementary school's Career Day event. The fourth through eighth graders had all heard of scrapbooking and most of them raised their hands when I asked if their mothers or relatives scrapbooked. How cool is that!? The students created this Valentine's cad in just 10 minutes. Our brand new Sweet Celebration collection is perfect for scrappin' those Valentine's memories and special people.

A Crafty Project

I found this super cool tree trunk plaque at Michael's Craft Store. 

Thought it matched perfectly with the concept of the Family Tree collection.

With a lot of extra strong adhesive, it's sure to make a great table display piece or wall hanging home accent.

Oh So Much Talent & Inspiration

CupCards To Go is an online card kit club. The lovely Cassonda chose Bella Blvd's Family Tree collection for the February Kits. Her Design team has made the most beautiful cards to inspire the CupCards customers. You can read all about the kit club here, and see Feburary's kit here!

This morning Cassonda sent me images of their work. Holy cats, you've got to check this out! How talented are her girls! Here are some of my favorite from the bunch!

Not much Family Tree papers on this one....but she used the paper slug as an embellishment! What a great idea for cards!
