Just this morning email invitations were sent out to a group of talented scrapbookers invited to become our next Bella Artistas. We will announce them after they review details and accept our invitations.
We had so many awesome, awesome submissions that we actually decided to choose more Artistas than we originally planned for. It was hard narrowing all the talent down! You all submitted such yummy works of art!
We are on our way back home today. It's bittersweet leaving California because its nearly 80 degrees today! It was a very successful show and a fun week. Thank you to my lovely Bella girls that worked so hard to make this a success. And thank you to everyone that stopped by the booth! I loved meeting you!
Thought I'd share with you some links that friends, fans and customers have shared with me, and others I found while surfing the web. There is lots of buzz going on about Bella Blvd. The show is officially over. It was a great success, however I think I could sleep for maybe 3 days straight without waking up. Hopefully I can catch some shut eye on the flight home tomorrow. If you enjoy following links I hope you have fun with the list below.
And after you watch that Scrap Etc. video, I think you will have proof that I was never meant to be - and never will be a film/television actress! Haha that is so embarrassing!
Great people. Awesome energy. Unbelievable amount of Bella Blvd buzz.
I must apologize in advance because the photos are missing lots of color. The photos do not do the booth justice. The dimension is *much* much* better in real life...but I know you are waiting patiently for the booth reveal.
(I know you're thinking that frame on the far left is massively crooked. That's because you're right! We must have re-adjusted it a million times today!)
To all those Bella Artistas out there, you had SOOOOO MANY COMPLIMENTS TODAY!!! Be proud of yourselves, your creativity and all your hard work. The inspirational display table is beautiful and everyone is taking photos of it. We hope we'll find links throughout the internet world in the next couple days with reviews. Please pass them on if you do.
For most of the day our booth was packed with customers.
Allow me to introduce my fabulous Bella team. . . . .
Some are strong,
Some are shy,
Some are fashionable...
and some are NOT!
But the greatest part is, we all work so well together as a team.
The 3 of us worked our little tails off to get this booth together, and it turned out just as I had envisioned it. I walked out of the convention center tonight with tears in my eyes begging the girls for a hug because this is all very emotional for me. My dream is coming true. The show opens tomorrow! OMG! I have to say **THANK YOU** to Robin and Jenna for working so hard these past couple days. This isn't easy work, this is very physical labor. Also, thank you to all my friends and family for volunteering to make this experience so wonderful. All the phone calls, emails and text messages that I received today were so sweet and uplifting. I'm sorry that you all can't be here. I love knowing, we love knowing, that you are supporting us no matter where you might be tonight.
Okay, so now you want to see the booth, right?
Well, here's your peek....literally!
You'll have to wait like everyone else until tomorrow to see the booth in all of enchanting beauty-is-ness. (is that even a word!)
Well, we made it. Rainy and humid, but heck it's about 70 degrees warmer than home and we are totally lovin' it.
Here's the not-so-beautiful Bella Bvd booth in all its naked glory. Don't those non-matching yellow curtains just kill you?! Here's Robin taking it all in as we try to decide where to start. And I must call out that special little step ladder on the left...
we realized when we got here we needed one. We walked over to Target, bought one and carried it all the way to lunch at Buca Di'Beppo, where it joined us for lunch right along side our booth.I think the waitress thought we were crazy walking in with a step ladder.
(ok so maybe it doesn't sound that funny to you, but honestly it was hilarious sight to see.)
And here's another funny for you. Try watching three woman spend two hours attempting to assemble a relatively basic shelf. We know all those men out there would get a kick (or an eye-roll) out of that!
So this is how far we got today. I know it doesn't look like much, but it was soooooooo much work. All the fun stuff hiding under the sheets get to come out tomorrow!
Please read today's post all the way through. While I know it will be long there are more sneak peek reveals, inspiration and yes ANOTHER GIVEAWAY!
